We are looking for experienced, customer focused, friendly trainees who have a genuine enthusiasm for pets to join our salons.

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Stylist within our Dogwood salon covering Basingstoke.

Responsibilities of a Trainee Stylist:

• Demonstrating a hands-on approach to train to Dogwoods high standards.
• Supporting your stylist in preparing the dogs ready for their groom.
• Responsible for the sales performance of the salon.
• Booking and managing appointments.
• Delivering high standards of customer service.
• Going ‘the extra mile’ for every customer
• Ensuring first class spa presentation by our high level of housekeeping and maintenance of equipment.
• Completing a Grooming portfolio to track your training and progress. Requirements of a Trainee Stylist:

• A genuine interest in Dogwood, our vision, our products, and our values
• A confident and positive approach to handling dogs
• Willing to build strong relationships with our customers and their pets
• Excellent communication skills
• A thirst for continued training and team development
• The drive and determination to work equally well as part of a busy team and under own initiative.
