The Role

• Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in performance, composition, and music theory

• Supporting and developing pupils’ musical skills and confidence

• Contributing to choirs, ensembles, concerts, and school productions

• Encouraging pupil participation in co-curricular music activities

• Working collaboratively within a well-established Music department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Music or a related discipline

• Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

• Strong subject knowledge across practical and theoretical aspects of Music

• The ability to inspire and motivate pupils of varying abilities

• A professional, organised, and collaborative approach

• Willingness to contribute to the wider musical life of the school
