A welcoming primary school in Reading is looking to appoint a KS1 Teacher to join their team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive school community that values creativity, collaboration, and pupil progress.
As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping pupils’ early learning experiences, delivering engaging lessons and supporting children as they develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
In this role, you will:
• Deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Support pupils in developing key literacy and numeracy skills
• Track progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
• Work closely with colleagues to plan and share best practice
There may also be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities, including TLR, depending on your experience and interests.
The school is easily accessible, with good transport links and on-site parking available. As a two-form entry school, staff benefit from shared planning and a collaborative approach across year groups.
