Role and Responsibilities:
As an Art Teacher, you will:
- Develop and deliver engaging and innovative art lessons that cater to a range of abilities and interests.
- Foster a love for art and creativity in students from all year groups.
- Encourage students to explore various mediums and techniques, from traditional to contemporary art forms.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Art examinations, providing guidance and support throughout their coursework.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, including art clubs, exhibitions, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art into the broader school curriculum and community.
Requirements:
- A degree in Art, Art Education, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching art at the secondary school level.
- A creative and dynamic teaching approach with a commitment to inspiring students.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with students, parents, and staff.
