Facilities Engineer

CK Group are recruiting for a Facilities Engineer to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for 6 months .

Salary:

£19.07 per hour PAYE

Facilities Engineer

Role:

• Able to perform handyman duties such as basic plumbing, erecting shelving and furniture assembly and decorating.
• Offer front line support to the business, helping with breakdowns and emergency situations. Capable of remedial actions to ensure labs work effectively and safely.
• Assist the Facilities Manager in planning and carrying out modifications to labs, refurbishments and upgrades and enhancements
• Take prompt action in emergency situations and arrange for contractors to assist and ensure issues are dealt with promptly
• Seek quotes from approved suppliers and ensure value for money, and any new equipment will work efficiently and effectively.
• Assist on sustainability, monitoring energy usage and consumption and to make suggestions where necessary to save energy

• Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance experience
• Knowledge of Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) diagnostics and repair would be an advantage
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Knowledge or experience of Building Management Systems (BMS) maybe with knowledge of Trend systems
• A full clean driving licence
