Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

The Role
Working under the supervision of a solicitor, you will support a busy family law team and manage your own caseload. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience within family law and progress their legal career.

Key Responsibilities
Managing and progressing family law matters, including non-molestation and occupation orders
Assisting with child-related matters as your experience develops
Preparing legal aid applications and supporting financial documentation
Drafting court documents and correspondence
Conducting legal research and reviewing expert reports
Maintaining accurate and compliant case management files
Attending client meetings and conferences, taking detailed notes
Supporting senior members of the team with ongoing casesAbout You
Previous experience handling family law matters
Experience with billing on family law cases
Strong understanding of family procedure rules and relevant regulations
Ability to manage cases efficiently and in a compliant manner
Proactive, organised, and able to work independently
