Leighton Park School is seeking to appoint an inspiring and forward-thinking Head of Business and Economics to lead a thriving and popular department. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious teacher and leader to shape the strategic direction of Business and Economics within a dynamic, values-led school community.

The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for their subject, capable of engaging and motivating students across the age and ability range. They will bring strong leadership skills, a clear vision for curriculum development, and a commitment to academic excellence, fostering a culture of high aspiration and intellectual curiosity.

Business and Economics are well-established subjects within the School, with strong uptake at A Level and within the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. The Head of Department will play a key role in further developing the curriculum, supporting colleagues, and ensuring that students achieve outstanding outcomes while developing a deep understanding of the modern economic and business landscape.
