Be part of a team where people, standards and leadership truly matter.

At Complete Childcare, we are committed to building high-performing teams that deliver exceptional care to children — and that starts with strong, consistent people management.

We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to take ownership of ER casework across the group, supporting our managers to navigate people matters with confidence, fairness and compliance.

  • Providing clear, practical and legally sound advice to managers at all levels

  • Drafting high-quality case documentation including invitations, outcomes and appeals

  • Supporting complex and sensitive cases

  • Monitoring absence management processes and supporting return-to-work planning

  • Working with occupational health and supporting reasonable adjustments

  • Ensuring all processes are compliant with UK employment law and group policy

  • Identifying trends and risks, supporting proactive people management

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience managing employee relations casework

  • Confidence advising managers in complex or sensitive situations

  • Excellent written communication skills with high attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple cases across different sites simultaneously

  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset

Desirable:

  • CIPD Level 5 or above (or working towards)

  • Experience in early years, education or care settings

  • Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and safeguarding implications

Why join Complete Childcare?

  • Work closely with senior leaders and influence people practices across the group

  • Be part of a growing organisation with clear standards and strong values

  • Opportunities to develop and progress within the business

  • A supportive, collaborative leadership culture

  • Ongoing training and professional development

Our Purpose

We create nurseries where everyone is excited by life and learning — and that includes our teams. Strong employee relations are key to creating environments where people can thrive, perform and deliver exceptional care.
