Monday-Friday: 3 Shift

Commutable from – Basingstoke, Newbury, Wokingham, Hook and Whitchurch

£57,000 + Overtime (paid up to 2x the normal rate)

Our client is a leading processor, with a reputation for product quality, which is second to none, and industry-leading standards. Due to a recent investment in the site, new production machinery installations, they are looking to increase their output and bring onboard additional maintenance engineers to their team.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Electrical & mechanical maintenance, PPM’s, and repairs
• Working on a variety of high-speed production machinery, conveyors, automation & controls, plant machinery and robotics
• Part of a close-knit, skilled team that is growing & developing
• An exciting challenge for someone that is looking to help develop the existing engineering function
• Dealing with motors, drives, PLC’s, hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, gearboxes
• Assisting with developing new PPM’s, helping with the new asset care management systems

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Be comfortable with working on mechanical or electrical problems and faults within a manufacturing environment

• Qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Engineering
• Ideally have 18 th Edition qualification
• A clear passion for engineering with a desire to learn and grow in the role
