Science Technician - Reading
A large and well-resourced 11–18 secondary school in Reading is seeking a reliable and organised Science Technician to join its busy Science department from January 2026 .
About the Role
Working closely with the Senior Technician and teaching staff, your duties will include:
- Preparing equipment and materials for practical lessons
- Maintaining laboratory spaces and chemical stores
- Ensuring safe handling and disposal of substances
- Supporting demonstrations and practical setups
- Tracking stock levels and ordering supplies
- Assisting with health and safety compliance
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced school environment.
