MOBILE DISPENSING OPTICIAN Basingstoke, Reading

I am searching for a qualified Mobile Dispensing Optician to join this brilliant company
The mobile Team you will be involved in a mixture of branch support with additional responsibilities contributing to the learning and development of our practice teams. You will act as an ambassador for the business, leading by example.
- All patients have a 30 minute eye examination. This is backed by a comprehensive 15 minute pre-screening which is completed by one of the team
- All practices are equipped with OCT’s alongside the majority of our practices equipped with Optomap.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their journey as a Dispensing Optician and take on further responsibilities which include, but are not restricted to, the following….
- Providing clinical cover to the a variety of clinics
- Being a unique voice between branches to ensure clinical standards are maintained
- Inducting new starters to the business
- Conducting experience days as part of our interview process for new staff members
- Creating modules for our online learning system in partnership with the Learning and Development team
- Providing on-going training and support to our existing Dispensing Opticians
Travel is a necessity within the mobile team, so you must have a full UK driving licence and be comfortable commuting to a number of practices

This is a full time position which will consist of 5 days a week, this may include weekends working.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Optometry or related field.
