Art Teacher - Independent School in Reading
A prestigious independent co-educational school in Reading is seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join their Visual Arts Department from January 2026. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to teach in a dynamic environment that celebrates artistic freedom, innovation, and high academic standards.
The successful candidate will deliver Art & Design across KS3–KS5, guiding students through a wide range of artistic techniques, including drawing, painting, photography, and digital media. You will support pupils in developing GCSE and A-Level portfolios, curate exhibitions, and collaborate on interdisciplinary creative projects that enhance the school’s artistic profile.
The Art Department features spacious studios, a digital design suite, and specialist workshops for ceramics and printmaking. Experience and Qualifications
• QTS/PGCE and degree in Art & Design or Fine Art
• Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level desirable
• Strong creative and technical skills with an engaging teaching style
