Are you a psychology graduate eager to gain hands-on experience supporting children with SEN and mental health needs? Do you want to develop practical skills in a specialist school environment before pursuing a career in children’s psychology or therapy?
A welcoming and inclusive specialist school in Reading is seeking a Psychology Graduate to join their learning support team immediately. In this role, you will provide 1:1 support to pupils with a variety of needs, including ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties, mental health needs, and physical disabilities.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide personalised 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
* Support pupils’ social, emotional, and mental health development
* Help maintain a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment
* Gain practical experience working with children and young people in an educational setting
