A forward-thinking SEN school in Sonning Common is recruiting a Complex Needs Support Assistant to work with pupils who have multiple additional needs, including Autism, learning difficulties, trauma, and medical or developmental needs. This role offers invaluable experience within a therapeutic and child-centred setting.
Role Details:
* Role: Complex Needs Support Assistant
* Location: Sonning Common, Oxfordshire
* Pay: £89–£100 per day
* Start: ASAP
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
* Age Range: 5–18 years
Complex Needs Support Assistant Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with complex needs
* Assist with emotional regulation, behaviour support, and daily routines
* Support learning activities adapted to individual ability and needs
* Help maintain a calm, safe, and structured environment
* Liaise with SEN staff, therapists, and pastoral teams
