A specialist SEN school in Reading is seeking a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism, severe learning difficulties, SEMH, sensory needs, and medical or communication needs. This is a full-time, long-term role ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a specialist setting.
You will be supporting children and young people, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
Key Details:
* Role: Complex Needs Teaching Assistant
• Location: Reading
• Salary: £89–£100 per day
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
• Start Date: ASAP
As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with daily routines, learning activities, emotional regulation, and communication. You’ll work closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN professionals to provide tailored support that meets each pupil’s individual needs.
