A well-regarded independent school in Reading is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join its successful Science department from April 2026. The Role
Teaching Physics across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 expected
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
Supporting pupils with practical investigations and exam preparation
Encouraging analytical thinking, mathematical application, and scientific enquiry
Contributing to enrichment activities and wider school life
Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced Science department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
A degree in Physics or a closely related subject
Experience teaching Physics at secondary level, including KS5
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
High expectations for pupil engagement and academic progress
A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
