An ‘outstanding’ co-educational Special School in Reading currently recruiting for Specialist TA’s to join them. They offer schooling for children between 5 and 16 years with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviours. The school specialises in not only providing integrated education, but therapeutic support for every child with a significant focus on wellbeing. The school are looking for ambitious and passionate teaching assistants with Psychology or relevant backgrounds to join them on a full-time long-term basis. The start date is ASAP.

The SEN School are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants and Psychology Graduates to support children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, communication difficulties (autistic spectrum conditions, Asperger’s Syndrome; speech, language and communication needs), ADHD and complex learning needs.
The school work in partnership with external professionals including educational and occupational psychologists, counsellors and speech and language therapists and the SEN teaching assistant will have the opportunity to work alongside them and shadow their work. The breadth of the curriculum, the extra-curricular activities, therapies, and the personalised approach, are supported by their highly specialist site. The school pride themselves on matching their provision to each individual child’s needs and it’s evident by the parent and pupil feedback how fantastic the provision really is.
The school are looking for teaching assistants who are passionate and resilient to help bolster their dedicated team.
