Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Lunch Cover

Banana Moon Day Nurseries is currently seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for Lunch Cover to join our dedicated team. This role is vital in ensuring that our children receive high-quality care and supervision during lunchtime, allowing them to enjoy their meals in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist children during lunchtime, ensuring they are well-fed and comfortable.
• Supervise and engage children in lunchtime activities, maintaining a positive atmosphere.
• Support the meal preparation and clear-up process alongside kitchen staff.
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment for children, following all safeguarding policies.
• Build positive relationships with children, thus enhancing their social skills and interactions.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding their children’s lunchtime experience.
• Work closely with other staff members during lunch cover shifts to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Experience working with young children, preferably in a nursery or childcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development and best practices in early years education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Passionate about promoting a positive, safe, and engaging environment for children.
• DBS check and right to work in the UK.
