- Provide individual and group support to service users, enabling them to overcome substance misuse challenges and sustain recovery.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to the unique needs of each individual in your caseload.
- Collaborate with various professionals including healthcare providers, social workers, and mental health specialists to ensure holistic support.
- Facilitate needle exchange programs and deliver harm reduction advice to minimise risks associated with substance misuse.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews, keeping meticulous records to track each individual's progress. Requirements for the role of Substance Misuse Recovery Coordinator:
To excel in this role, you should have recent experience in Substance Misuse, Addiction, Drug and Alcohol support, Needle Exchange, or Recovery.
