A forward-thinking school in Reading is seeking a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This role involves working closely with pupils who require additional support to manage behaviour and remain engaged in learning.

As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Implementing behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
* Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
* Helping students develop social and emotional skills
* Collaborating with teaching staff and SEN professionals
* Creating a structured and supportive classroom environment

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in education, youth work, coaching, or care. A good understanding of behaviour management strategies and SEMH needs is highly desirable.
