Assistant Director of Mathematics
The Wren School is a well-established secondary school located in Reading, Berkshire, committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a supportive learning environment. We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Mathematics to join our dedicated Mathematics department. This role focuses on Key Stage 3, 4 & 5 curriculum delivery and development, supporting the Director of Mathematics in leading the department to achieve excellent student outcomes.

Education Stage: Secondary (Key Stage 3, 4 & 5)
Minimum Experience: 2 years Responsibilities include assisting with curriculum planning, supporting teaching staff, monitoring student progress, and contributing to departmental leadership. Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years’ experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level
- Strong knowledge of Key Stage 3, 4 & 5 curriculum requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to support colleagues through coaching or mentoring
- Competence in using data to inform teaching strategies
- A relevant degree in Mathematics or Education; Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential Values and Attitudes:
