A highly successful secondary school in Reading is seeking a Maths Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join its department on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2026. The school is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Maths ECT who is keen to develop strong classroom practice within a structured and supportive environment.

You will teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 as your confidence grows. The Maths department is collaborative, well resourced, and experienced in supporting ECTs through their induction, mentoring, and professional development.

Experience and Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or completing PGCE in Maths
• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
• Ability to teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• A reflective and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning

Salary

Paid to scale (MPS) on a direct contract.
