PA to the Head | Reading Secondary School

We are recruiting for a talented PA to the Head for an Outstanding secondary school in Caversham. This Full-Time, Permanent position is available for an ASAP start. We are looking for an individual who can provide the administrative expertise required to support the Head in leading a successful and diverse school community during a period of growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Head’s office and clerical team

• Draft and edit official school documentation, policies, and community newsletters

• Act as the Clerk to the Governors, preparing agendas and recording formal minutes

• Manage the Head’s budget for hospitality, events, and office supplies

• Participate in a strong culture of professional development and mutual respect

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong administrative background with experience in a leadership support role

• Meticulous attention to detail and advanced ICT skills

• High standards of professional presentation and punctuality

• Must have the right to work in the UK

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range: £29,500 – £36,500
