Nursery Room Leader

Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our dynamic team! As a Nursery Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of our children while fostering their emotional and social development within a safe and stimulating environment.

Your key responsibilities will include coordinating the planning and implementation of engaging activities, effectively leading a team of practitioners, and maintaining the high standards of care and education typical of Banana Moon Nurseries. In addition, you will work closely with parents and families, keeping them informed about their child's progress and encouraging their involvement in nursery life.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Qualification in Early Years Education (Level 3 or above) or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting, with proven leadership or supervisory skills.
• In-depth understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members.
• A positive attitude and an ability to inspire and motivate staff.
• Commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children.
• Knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
