Spire Dunedin Hospital l is recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Scrub Practitioners to join our high performing Theatre Team’s temporary staff bank. This unmissable role offers the opportunity to work alongside some of the regions most experienced Consultants, covering varied and diverse cases.
Spire Dunedin Hospital has been serving the Reading community for over 100 years, as a first-class medical facility. Based in the heart of Reading, the hospital has two theatres, 16 inpatient beds, three recovery bays, Oncology services and an Endoscopy Suite.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Caring for patients undergoing procedures
- Providing exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative stage
- Assisting in the management and organisation of care provision within the Scrub/Recovery team in the operating department
- Working across multi-disciplinary teams
- Assessing patient needs, implementing and evaluating their care.
Who we're looking for
- Qualified ODP/Nurse.
- NMC or HCPC registered with no restrictions on your registration.
- Experience in scrub.
- Have been employed in a surgical/Theatre setting.
- You will be highly motivated and used to working in challenging but rewarding environment.
