PE Teacher - Independent School - Reading
Our Client, a respected independent school in Reading , is seeking a PE Teacher from January 2026 to teach KS3–KS5 , lead co-curricular sports clubs, and contribute to the school’s commitment to developing high levels of fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

With a vibrant 11–18 roll of about 850 pupils , this school combines traditional values with modern sporting facilities, including a state-of-the-art sports complex, fitness suite, and extensive outdoor pitches. The PE department offers a diverse curriculum covering traditional and contemporary sports, with students regularly representing the school at regional and national levels.
Teachers are encouraged to bring creativity and leadership to co-curricular activities and have access to professional development in coaching qualifications, sports science, and leadership in education. Staff describe the atmosphere as “motivated, supportive, and inclusive” , making it an exceptional environment for both staff and students.
