A dynamic Specialist School in Reading is looking for a committed Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This Behaviour Teaching Assistant role involves supporting pupils who need additional help managing behaviour and engaging with learning.

As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural challenges
• Implementing effective behaviour management strategies
• Supporting pupils in developing positive social behaviours
• De-escalating challenging situations in a calm and professional manner
• Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff
• Creating a structured and consistent learning environment
• ASAP start in a well-connected Reading location

This Behaviour Teaching Assistant role is well suited to candidates with experience in education, care, or youth work. A strong understanding of behaviour and SEMH needs is highly beneficial.
