Location: Reading
Working pattern: Hybrid
Salary: £26,500 - £40,000 + uncapped commission (based on your experience)
This is a 360 role with real scope to build, expand and own a successful contract desk within one of our busiest and most established markets.
You'll focus on developing and strengthening relationships across both large organisations and growing businesses, working closely with recruitment teams, hiring managers, directors and senior stakeholders. The desk has a strong history of performance, consistently exceeding targets through high‑quality delivery and long‑term client partnerships - with genuine headroom for further growth.

Our Hays Reading office supports an impressive and diverse client base across this highly competitive market.
The office is centrally located next to Reading station and was fully refurbished within the last few years, offering a modern, vibrant and collaborative space.
Recruitment specialisms include Technology, Finance, HR, Marketing, Business Support and Procurement, with collective experience ranging from 6 months to nearly 30 years. This breadth of experience creates an environment where ambitious consultants can accelerate their development quickly.
The Role:
As part of the Reading Technology team, you'll be trusted to manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including:
Building and developing long‑term client and candidate partnerships
Identifying and winning new business opportunities
Recruiting experienced technology professionals into contract roles
Sourcing, interviewing and qualifying candidates using market‑leading recruitment tools and systems
Managing the end‑to‑end recruitment process, from briefing through to offer management and onboarding
