Site Assistant - Reading
A well-established secondary school in Reading is seeking a reliable and proactive Site Assistant to join their facilities team as soon as possible. This is a full-time, permanent role, providing essential support to ensure the school site is safe, clean, and well-maintained.
About the Role
As a Site Assistant, you will work closely with the Site Manager and caretaking team to maintain high standards across the school premises. You will support both day-to-day operations and larger projects, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
• Assisting with caretaking and maintenance tasks across the school site
• Supporting room setups for lessons, events, and exams
• Monitoring health and safety procedures and reporting issues
• Assisting with deliveries, waste management, and general site organisation
• Performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Ensuring all areas of the school are safe, secure, and accessible
