The Role

The school is seeking an experienced and strategic School Business Manager (SBM) to lead on the operational and financial management of the school. This is a senior leadership role, working closely with the Headteacher and governing body to ensure the effective use of resources and the smooth running of all non-teaching functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation

• Oversee HR, premises, health and safety, and administrative functions

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

• Manage contracts, procurement, and service-level agreements

• Provide strategic advice to senior leaders and governors

• Monitor and report on financial performance and efficiency

• Line manage support staff teams
