Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Biology ECT to join a well-established independent school in Reading from September. The Role

• Teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4

• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons

• Supporting practical lessons with a strong focus on safety and scientific understanding

• Developing confident classroom routines and positive behaviour management

• Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback

• Working closely with experienced colleagues within the Science department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be on track to qualify as an ECT

• A degree in Biology or a closely related subject

• The ability to teach Biology confidently across KS3 and KS4

• A positive, reflective approach to teaching and learning

• Willingness to take feedback on board and develop professionally

• Good organisation skills and a professional teaching style
