The Role

• Preparing equipment, materials, and chemicals for practical lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

• Supporting complex practical investigations at GCSE and A Level

• Ensuring safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals in line with COSHH regulations

• Maintaining laboratory equipment and managing stock levels

• Assisting teaching staff during practical sessions where required

• Keeping detailed compliance and safety records

• Contributing to the smooth organisation of the Science department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous experience in a Science Technician or laboratory-based role

• Strong understanding of laboratory health & safety procedures

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Confidence supporting practical work at KS4 and KS5

• A proactive, professional, and solutions-focused approach

• The ability to work independently within a structured environment
