Art Teacher - Independent School in Reading - April Start!
A highly regarded independent school in Reading is seeking a talented and creative Art Teacher to join its thriving department from April . The Role
Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available depending on experience
Planning and delivering inspiring lessons across drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and digital art
Supporting pupils with portfolio development and examination coursework
Encouraging independent creative thinking and technical skill development
Organising exhibitions and contributing to the visual culture of the school
Maintaining high standards of classroom organisation and resource management
Contributing to enrichment activities such as art clubs, trips, and competitions
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent independent school teaching experience
A degree in Fine Art, Art & Design, or a related discipline
Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Strong technical knowledge across a range of artistic media
The ability to motivate and challenge pupils of varying abilities
A collaborative and professional approach to departmental teamwork
A genuine passion for creativity and artistic development
