Year 2 Teacher - Outstanding School in Reading

We are seeking a committed Year 2 Teacher to join our inclusive and high-achieving school in Reading from January 2026. This is a permanent position, open to full-time and part-time applicants, with potential for a TLR for subject or phase leadership for the right candidate.

Position: Year 2 Teacher
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate)

As our Year 2 Teacher, you will:

• Lead a motivated Year 2 class through their SATs year with confidence and care
• Plan creative and engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and enthusiasm
• Use assessment effectively to support progress and attainment
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• (If applicable) Take on subject or phase leadership responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• QTS and experience teaching in Key Stage 1
• Understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and end-of-key-stage assessments
• A reflective, organised, and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to inclusion and creativity
