Do you have a strong interest in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)?
A specialist SEN school in Reading is seeking a dedicated ASD Support Assistant to work with pupils who benefit from structured routines, personalised support, and a calm, understanding approach to learning.
As an ASD Support Assistant, you’ll help pupils manage sensory needs, develop communication skills, and build confidence both in and out of the classroom.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing tailored 1:1 and small group ASD support
* Supporting routines, transitions, and emotional regulation
* Encouraging communication, social skills, and independence
* Implementing behaviour and sensory support strategies
* Working closely with SEN teachers and specialist staff
ASD Support Assistant role details:
* Location: Reading
* Pay: £89–£100 per day
* Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
* Start: ASAP
* Contract: Long-term, full-time

Graduates or individuals with experience or interest in Autism, SEN, psychology, education, or care, especially those considering careers as Teachers, Therapists, or SEN Professionals.
