Do you have a passion for supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)?
A specialist SEN school in Reading is seeking a dedicated ASD Support Assistant to work with pupils who require tailored support to thrive both emotionally and academically. This is a long-term, full-time role offering consistency, training, and the chance to make a lasting impact.
As a ASD Support Assistant you’ll support children with Autism, sensory processing differences, communication needs, and emotional regulation challenges, helping them feel secure, understood, and confident at school.
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing 1:1 and small group ASD support
* Supporting routines, structure, and transitions
* Encouraging communication, social interaction, and independence
* Assisting with behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
* Working collaboratively with SEN teachers and specialists
ASD Support Assistant Role details:
* Location: Reading
* Pay: £89–£100 per day
* Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
* Start: ASAP
Ideal for:
Graduates or individuals with experience or interest in Autism, SEN, psychology, education, or care, including those considering careers as Teachers, Therapists, or SEN Specialists.
