A fantastic SEN school in Sonning Common is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, anxiety, and behavioural challenges. This is a full-time, long-term role perfect for those looking to gain meaningful experience in education or mental health.
Key Details:
* Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Location: Sonning Common
• Salary: £89–£100 per day
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
• Start Date: ASAP
• Ideal for: Psychology, Counselling, Criminology, Education Graduates, or SEN-focused applicants
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support, assist with emotional regulation and behaviour management, and help pupils engage positively with learning. You’ll work closely with SEN Teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure each child receives consistent and compassionate support.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role is an excellent stepping stone for those aspiring to become Teachers, Educational Psychologists, Therapists, or Social Workers.
