Site Assistant - Reading

Role Responsibilities
As a Site Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of school buildings, grounds, and facilities.
Supporting the Site Manager and caretaking team with daily operational tasks.
Preparing classrooms, halls, and outdoor areas for events, assemblies, and school activities.
Monitoring building systems and reporting faults or maintenance issues promptly.
Assisting contractors and visitors with site access and compliance procedures.
Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained across the site.
Supporting waste management and the upkeep of external grounds and sporting facilities.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a site, caretaking, or facilities role is desirable.
Practical, hands-on skills for minor maintenance and general upkeep.
Reliability, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Awareness of health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
