Caretaker Vacancy - Independent School in Reading
A prestigious independent school in Reading is seeking a reliable and conscientious Caretaker to join their estates team on a full-time, permanent basis from January or by agreement. Job Overview
You will be responsible for:
• Ensuring the day-to-day security, cleanliness, and maintenance of the school site
• Opening and closing the site, including securing buildings and monitoring access
• Carrying out routine health and safety checks and reporting any issues promptly
• Completing basic repairs and general maintenance tasks across the site
• Supporting contractors and monitoring works on site
• Assisting with room setups for school events and activities
• Maintaining outdoor areas to a high standard
