The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join our dynamic Science Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Chemistry education to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire and engage students with the wonders of Chemistry in a supportive and forward-thinking school.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Chemistry.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have a proven track record of successful teaching in a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to student achievement and well-being.
- Be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.
- Show willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
