Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking to join a high-performing, fully independent financial planning firm? We’re working with a boutique IFA practice based in Reading, seeking a skilled and motivated Paraplanner to support their growing team.

 

The Opportunity:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 4 qualified (or Chartered) Paraplanner with at least 5 years’ experience in an IFA environment. You’ll work closely with two experienced advisers, including one with over 25 years in the industry, supporting high-quality client relationships and contributing to the delivery of bespoke financial planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed suitability reports and technical research
• Support advisers with client meeting preparation and follow-up
• Conduct cashflow modelling using tools such as Voyant and CashCalc
• Maintain accurate client records using Intelligent Office (IO)
• Liaise with providers and clients to ensure smooth case progression
• Contribute to the development of internal processes and best practices

About You:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Paraplanning role within an IFA firm
• Diploma Level 4 qualified (Chartered status preferred but not essential)
• Proficient with IO, CashCalc, Voyant, Octopus, Aviva, and other key platforms
• Professional, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a solicitor-level client experience
• Eager to grow within a collaborative and ambitious team
