About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and commercially aware Account / Project Manager to take ownership of client accounts and lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale live event projects.

This is a dual-role position combining account management, project coordination, and on-site delivery, requiring someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two projects are the same.

You will be responsible for understanding client objectives, translating them into detailed operational plans, and ensuring seamless execution from initial enquiry through to event completion and post-event review.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, building strong and trusted relationships
- Understand client requirements, objectives, and event outcomes in detail
- Identify opportunities to upsell and expand services in line with business objectives
- Maintain regular communication and ensure high levels of client satisfaction

Planning & Project Execution
- Translate client requirements into clear delivery plans, schedules, and budgets
- Develop accurate project briefs covering logistics, stock, transport, and site requirements
- Coordinate closely with logistics, warehouse, transport, and operations teams
- Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on event scope and delivery expectations

Project Coordination & Delivery
- Produce detailed build schedules and operational plans for live events
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
- Attend regular internal meetings and provide updates on project status, risks, and opportunities
- Maintain strong control over timelines, quality, and resource allocation

Budget & Commercial Management
- Manage project budgets, costs, and financial tracking throughout each event
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective solutions
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed margins while maintaining quality standards
- Provide financial updates and ensure cost control across all stages

Logistics & On-Site Management
- Oversee all logistical elements from planning through to event breakdown
- Provide on-site leadership during live events, resolving issues in real time
- Ensure high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer experience
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors and operational teams on-site

Post-Event Review & Improvement
- Conduct detailed post-event analysis covering operational and financial performance
- Ensure accurate final documentation and reconciliation of additional costs
- Gather feedback from clients and teams to identify improvements for future delivery
- Support continuous improvement across processes and execution standards

Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in events, logistics, project management, or account management
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in fast-moving environments
- Commercial awareness with basic understanding of P&L and cost control
- Experience working with subcontractors and operational delivery teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general systems use
- Understanding of health & safety in temporary event environments (desirable)
