We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organised School Receptionist to join a busy and welcoming primary school in Reading , starting ASAP . This is a key front-of-house role, acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, staff, and pupils, ensuring the school environment remains professional, welcoming, and efficiently run.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome parents, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner

• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage general enquiries

• Maintain and update pupil and staff records accurately

• Support school administrative tasks and office organisation

• Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and school events

• Monitor office supplies and equipment

• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies

• Provide administrative support to the leadership team as required

• Maintain a calm, organised, and efficient reception area
