Role Overview

As a PE ECT, you will:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across KS3–KS5.

• Inspire pupils to develop skills, fitness, teamwork, and a lifelong love of physical activity.

• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and supporting improvement.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work, resources, and best practice.

• Lead or support co-curricular sports clubs, competitions, and enrichment activities.

ECT Support & Development

Female PE Teacher - Candidate Profile

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds (or is due to achieve) QTS.

• Has a degree in Physical Education, Sport Science, or a closely related discipline.

• Demonstrates passion for teaching, fitness, and pupil development.

• Is willing to reflect on practice, learn, and develop professionally.

• Possesses strong organisation, communication, and classroom management skills.
