Join our thriving IT and Computing department, where we are committed to delivering a stimulating, enjoyable, and highly relevant curriculum. This role is not for Computer Science but focuses on Creative iMedia and ICT, with a leadership opportunity as KS3 IT Coordinator and CN Creative iMedia/IT Programme Coordinator.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead and develop key curriculum areas within the IT and Computing department.
- Balance classroom teaching with leadership responsibilities, maintaining and modelling excellent practice.
- Develop leadership skills in curriculum design, staff support, and data-informed improvement.
- Make a tangible impact beyond your own classroom by leading initiatives that enhance student learning and departmental performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong classroom practitioner with a passion for ICT.
- High expectations for students and a commitment to inclusive practice.
- Experience in leading, collaborating, and supporting colleagues.
- Proficient in using data and assessment to improve teaching and learning.
- Committed to safeguarding, professional development, and whole-school improvement.
- Ready to take on curriculum leadership or with existing middle leadership experience.
