Management Accountant

Management Accountant | Reading | Hybrid (3 days in office) | up to £58,000 + bonus (DoE)

The Role
This is a commercially focused Management Accountant position with ownership of Group cost reporting, acting as a key Business Partner to the Tech function and overhead cost centres. You'll have strong exposure to senior stakeholders and play a visible role in supporting decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning monthly management accounts for Group costs and overheads
• Partnering with Tech on capex, timesheets and cost control
• Delivering clear variance analysis, commentary and rolling forecasts
• Maintaining capitalisation processes and fixed asset accounting
• Supporting budgets, business cases and project analysis
• Involvement in cashflow forecasting, VAT, intercompany and audit

What they're looking for

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Strong grounding in UK GAAP (FRS102)
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence non-finance stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a flexible, autonomous environment
