A high-achieving independent 11–18 school in Reading is seeking an enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join their Science Faculty from January 2026. This full-time, permanent post offers the chance to teach in a department celebrated for innovative practice and exceptional results.
About the Role
The successful teacher will teach Physics from KS3 to A Level, nurturing students’ confidence in conceptual understanding and practical skills. You will design creative lessons that make use of laboratory experiments, digital simulations, and project-based learning.
Physics is one of the most popular A-Level choices at the school, with many students progressing to degrees in engineering, mathematics, and natural sciences. You will also have opportunities to support the Astronomy Club, robotics competitions, and the annual STEM Festival.

Experience and Qualifications
• QTS/PGCE with a degree in Physics or Engineering
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for practical investigation
