Key Responsibilities

• Lead a classroom of young children, creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate age‑appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and child protection at all times.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Observe and record each child’s progress, sharing insights with the wider teaching team.
• Support the recruitment, training, and mentoring of assistant staff within the room.

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant early‑years qualification (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Teacher, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Experience working with children aged 0‑5 years, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a small team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
