Exciting PE Teacher Opportunity in Reading
Are you a dedicated PE educator looking to inspire students? Our school in Reading is hiring a full-time, permanent PE Teacher to start in September 2024. This role offers an exciting opportunity to promote physical activity and well-being among students, fostering a love for sports and fitness.
About the Role: In this role, you will deliver engaging PE lessons, develop a creative curriculum, and support students in achieving their physical potential. You will also have the chance to coach sports teams and organize extracurricular activities, enhancing students' overall experience.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons to students of all abilities.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards and encourages physical activity.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, fitness, and well-being.
- Organize and coach extracurricular sports activities and teams.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Requirements:
- Degree in Physical Education or related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching PE at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of current PE teaching practices and sports coaching.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
