Recruitment Consultant

This is an opportunity to join a much valued client of ours in a growing and well-established recruitment business in Berkshire, specialising in Engineering or Tech markets.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, winning new business, and developing a desk with real autonomy and earning potential.

The Role

• Develop and grow a specialist desk within Engineering or Tech
• Utilise existing contacts and database
• Proactively win new business through calls, meetings, networking, and referrals
• Build and manage long-term client relationships
• Source, qualify, and manage candidates through the full recruitment lifecycle
• Manage the full 360 process from business development to placement
• Maintain a strong pipeline of roles and candidates
• Negotiate terms, fees, and offers with clients and candidates
• Work towards and exceed monthly billing targets

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within Engineering or Tech
• Strong business development skills and a track record of winning new clients
• Confident communicator who can build credibility quickly
• Target-driven with a commercial mindset
• Resilient, motivated, and able to work at pace
• A team player who also thrives with autonomy
